Indictments Filed Nov. 26

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 36 indictments Nov. 26. 
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. 
All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Denise M. Daehling 
Denise Daehling, 34, of Rio Grande, was indicted on nine counts, including four counts in the second degree. Police reports state that Daehling and a 17-year-old juvenile were in a motor vehicle, stopped by Wildwood Police, and drugs were found.
Daehling was indicted on three counts of possession of a CDS, each count third degree, along with a third-degree count for possession with intent and possession with intent within 1,000 feet of a school. The second-degree counts in the indictment were for possession with intent within 500 feet of public property.
The presence of the 17-year-old led to charges of endangering the welfare of a child and employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime. Both of the counts are second degree. 
The two remaining second-degree counts were for intent to distribute within 500 feet of a school and employing a weapon in the commission of a CDS crime.
Robert J. Broughton 
Robert Broughton, 24, of Fishing Creek, was indicted for aggravated assault on a police officer in both the third and fourth degrees, along with third-degree resisting arrest.
Breana A. Bakis
Breana Bakis, of Lower Township, was indicted for theft and computer crime, both counts third degree, for illegally accessing computer files and appropriating property from a local restaurant.
Deyaa A. Abdul-Aziz, Mustafa Mounir
Deyaa Abdul-Aziz, 24, of Bayonne, and Mustafa Mounir, 25, of Prospect Park, were jointly indicted for possession of marijuana over one ounce with intent to distribute, fourth degree, along with possession with intent within 1,000 feet of a school, third degree. The two also face a count of third-degree conspiracy.
Jordan Barreto
Jordan Barreto, of Wildwood, faces two fourth-degree counts for contempt of court, both related to violation of the terms of a pretrial release order.   
Jerry F. Shields
Jerry Shields, 31, of Avalon, was indicted in January for sexual assault, second degree, and two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The victim of the assault was a minor. 
This week, the same charges appeared in a new indictment, with additional counts for first-degree witness tampering, third-degree terroristic threats and fourth-degree contempt of a pre-trial release order. The new charges have led to his being incarcerated in the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
Timothy S. Shaffer, Brandon K. White
Timothy Shaffer, 54, of Tunnelton, W. Va., and Brandon White, 26, of Masontown, W.Va., were indicted on weapons charges. White was in possession of a 9 mm handgun and a .45 caliber handgun. Shaffer possessed a 9 mm gun. 
Shaffer faces two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, along with one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. White was named in a count for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, along with second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. 
Both received an additional count for fourth-degree prohibited weapon for hollow-nose bullets. White received a count for fourth-degree possession of a weapon, due to possession of a knife. They were arrested in Wildwood in September.
Edmund Seelman
Following an arrest in Dennis Township, Edmund Seelman faces a count of third-degree possession of a CDS, fentanyl.
Jose Garcia 
In Middle Township, Jose Garcia neglected to register a new address, even though he was under the requirement to do so as a sex offender. Garcia was convicted of second-degree rape in New York, in 2005, and is subject to community supervision. He faces a count of third-degree failure to re-register upon a change of address.
Daniel R. Guardalabene 
Daniel Guardalabene was arrested in North Wildwood, in October, for possession of a .32 caliber handgun. He was indicted for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Osmond R. Garrison 
Osmond Garrison, 31, of Villas, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin.
Jose Galino
Jose Galino, 32, of Villas, was indicted for third-degree exhibition of a simulated document as proof of identification.
Giovanni A. Tacconelli
Giovanni Tacconelli, 27, of Mt. Laurel, faces a fourth-degree count for possession of over 50 grams of marijuana, along with a third-degree count for possession with intent to distribute.
Joy M. Williamson
Joy Williamson, of Ocean City, was indicted on a fourth-degree count of uttering a false instrument and fourth-degree theft. Williamson presented a forged check, payable to herself, at a local bank.
Richard M. Zulla 
Richard Zulla, 31, of Shawcrest, was indicted for third-degree assault in an incident of domestic abuse in Lower Township.
Susan Wolfenden 
Susan Wolfenden, 41, of Villas, was indicted on one count of third-degree possession of a CDS, fentanyl.
Christopher Hudson
Christopher Hudson faces a fourth-degree count of criminal mischief related to a July incident in Middle Township that resulted in more than $500 of purposeful damage to another person’s property.
Samuel Holt 
Samuel Holt, of Woodbine, faces a charge of third-degree theft.
Taneisha J. Faulkingham
Taneisha Faulkingham, 20, of Columbia, Maine, was indicted for fourth-degree possession of a CDS with intent to distribute. The substance was marijuana.
Jacklyn N. Fennimore 
Jacklyn Fennimore faces a third-degree count for possession of a CDS, methamphetamine.
Joseph P. Schartner
Joseph Schartner, 27, of Villas, faces third-degree counts for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, a knife, for unlawful purposes and making terroristic threats. The indictment also contained a fourth-degree count for unlawful possession of a weapon.
Darren L. Parisano
Darren Parisano, of Wildwood, was indicted for fourth-degree possession of a prohibited weapon, a stiletto.
Rosemary Papanek  
Rosemary Papanek, of Ocean City, faces a third-degree count for fraudulent use of a credit card and a fourth-degree count for unlawful theft or receipt of a credit card. The card belonging to a male victim was used at a Mexican restaurant.
Andrew D. Roop 
Andrew Roop, of Upper Township, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, cocaine.
Wendi A. Rodriguez-Cuevas 
Wendi Rodriguez-Cuevas, of Sea Isle City, was indicted for assault by auto, fourth-degree, leaving the scene of an injury accident, third-degree, and endangering another, also third degree. 
Three other third-degree counts were included in the indictment for endangering an injured victim, violation of public health and safety law, and hindering apprehension.
Jeffrey J. Kean
Jeffrey Kean faces a fourth-degree count for contempt after violating the terms of a restraining order.
Leaming Johnston
Leaming Johnston, 33, of Court House, was indicted on two counts of fourth-degree criminal trespassing involving two separate dwellings in Lower Township, one on Leaming Avenue.
Jahquees T. Johnson
Jahquees Johnson, 20, of Middle Township, was indicted on a single count of fourth-degree throwing bodily fluids.
Crystal A. Kelly
Crystal Kelly, of Wildwood, faces two counts of third-degree possession of a CDS, 5-Fluro and buprenorphine.
Ivelin D. Marinov
Ivelin Marinov was arrested in Ocean City, in July, for possession of cocaine. He was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS.
Thomas Oliva
Thomas Oliva, 28, of Wildwood, faces a second-degree indictment for endangering the welfare of a 6-month-old child.
Danielle J. Leslie
Danielle Leslie, of Middle Township, was indicted for fourth-degree cyber harassment.
David Lambert
David Lambert, 40, was indicted on three weapons counts, each in the third degree. He faces a count for unlawful possession of a weapon, a sawed-off shotgun, along with two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon.
Joshua Nolan
Joshua Nolan, 34, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin.
Jackeline Marquez
Jackeline Marquez, of Ocean City, is named in a five-count indictment, including third-degree counts for theft by deception, using a simulated document and impersonation. Two fourth-degree counts are for forgery and uttering a forged instrument.
Thomas Gagliardi 
Thomas Gagliardi, of Wildwood was indicted for making terroristic threats, third degree.
