COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 17 indictments Nov. 14.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. 
A “certain person” charge can be brought against anyone carrying a weapon whose previous criminal convictions prohibit possession of a weapon. 
Gregory A. Lazicki
On May 27, Gregory Lazicki, 37, of Burleigh, allegedly entered the Court House Diner and stole an automatic teller machine containing over $4,000. Four months later Lazicki was arrested while incarcerated at the county Correctional Center on an assault charge.
This week Lazicki was indicted for burglary and theft, each third degree, along with criminal mischief, fourth degree.
Khalil W. McClurkin
On April 7 in Dennis Township, Khalil McClurkin, 28, of Middle Township, was involved in a State Police motor vehicle stop. McClurkin was allegedly in possession of marijuana. He was indicted for fourth-degree possession of a CDS.
Rodney Frazier, Robert Anderson
Robert Anderson, 56, of Rio Grande, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin, and possession with intent to distribute. His proximity to Belles Memorial Park, at the intersection of Routes 9 and 47, added a second-degree count for possession with intent within 500 feet of public property.
Involved in the same incident, Rodney Frazier, 68, of North Cape May, was charged with possession of heroin, third degree.
Less than two months after the Belles Park arrest, Frazier was again arrested for possession of a machete and a knife. Frazier, previously convicted of aggravated assault, was not allowed to carry a weapon. He was indicted for a second time this week on two counts of fourth-degree certain person.
Sommer Iovacchini
Sommer Iovacchini, 39, of Del Haven, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, cocaine.
Jeffrey C. Guiliano
Jeffrey C. Guiliano was arrested in Sea Isle City after allegedly threatening to kill a female victim. This week he was indicted for third-degree terroristic threats.
Laura L. Abadie, Donna Long, Nicole L. Becica
Laura Abadie, 49, of Villas, Donna Long, 57, of Wildwood Crest, and Nicole Becica, 38, of Ocean View, were each indicted for third-degree possession of methamphetamine. Abadie had an added count of possession with intent to distribute, also third degree. A second-degree count for endangering the welfare of a child was also handed down for Becica who was caring for a 2-year-old.
Will Reid, Phillip King
Will Reid, 53, of Burleigh, was indicted for possession of a CDS, two counts, and two counts of possession with intent to distribute. Reid alleged had both heroin and cocaine when he was arrested on July 21. The counts are all third-degree except for one count of intent to distribute which was in the second degree due to the amount of cocaine involved. Reid also faces counts of fourth-degree hindering apprehension and fabricating evidence.
Phillip King was involved in the incident and was indicted for possession of cocaine, third degree.
Rashied Michael
Rashied Michael, 45, was arrested in Sea Isle City for possession of alprazolam.  He was also allegedly in possession of a knife. He faces an indictment for third-degree possession of a CDS and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Christopher Meyers
Christopher Meyers, 29, of Rio Grande was indicted for possession of a prohibited weapon, a switchblade knife. The count was in the fourth degree.
Jason Ruiz
Jason Ruiz, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin.
Edward F. Fox
Edward Fox, 26, of Clayton, allegedly entered a residence on Spruce Avenue in Lower Township taking property valued at greater than $500 and causing over $2,000 worth of damage.  He was indicted for burglary, criminal mischief, and theft, each in the third degree.
Alexander Stein
Alexander Stein was arrested in Ocean City on Aug. 15 for possession of an expandable baton. He was indicted for fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Arthur S. Vitola
Arthur Vitola, of Dennis Township, was indicted for fourth-degree theft and unlawful taking of a credit card, along with two counts of third-degree fraudulent use of a credit card. Vitola allegedly took the bank debit card from a victim and used it at Wawa and Walmart.
Shidee J. Valentine
Shidee Valentine, 31, of Middle Township, was indicted on certain person charges in the fourth degree after allegedly being found in possession of a stun gun. Valentine was barred from possession of a weapon by a conviction in Atlantic County for possession of a CDS.
Scott P. Smith
Scott Smith, of Wildwood, was indicted for possession of a CDS, cocaine, in the third degree.
Edward J. Winning, Robert E. Pfaff
Edward Winning, 52, of Villas, and Robert Pfaff, 33, of North Cape May, were both indicted for receiving stolen property belonging to the same victim. Winning’s count was in the third degree, and Pfaff’s was fourth degree.
The individual(s) listed is/are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
