COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 11 indictments May 8. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
In addition to the Cape May County indictments, filings this week include two indictments from a state grand jury along with one recorded criminal action in which an individual waived his right to prosecution by indictment and jury trial, requesting a trial before the court.
The following actions are alleged by law enforcement agents. Persons named are innocent until proven otherwise in court.
Timothy Corwonski
Timothy Corwonski, 37, of North Wildwood, faces a criminal action for third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree violation of conditions of community supervision for life.
In 2003, Corwonski was convicted of child endangerment, involving inappropriate contact with a 6-year-old child, as well as possessing child pornography.
In February, Corwonski was again arrested for possession of “items depicting the sexual exploitation of a child.” Corwonski also tested positive for methamphetamine according to the state documents. He waived his right to trial by jury.
Jackson Beard
A state grand jury brought an indictment against Jackson Beard, 32, of Villas, for crimes committed in 2013. Beard is facing one count of endangering the welfare of a child, third degree, and one count of second-degree unlawful possession of an assault firearm.
According to the indictment, Beard had in his possession over 100 items of child pornography, as well as a New Frontier Armory LW-15 semi-automatic rifle.
Beard was initially arrested in 2013 as part of a large operation targeting individuals who used a file-sharing network to download and distribute child pornography.
Mitchell Beard
Arrested as part of the same 2013 law enforcement operation, Mitchell Beard, 32, of Villas, was indicted by the same state grand jury and faces three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. One count is in the third degree and involves possession of a large number of items of child pornography.
The other two counts are in the second degree and involve charges that Beard possessed a file-sharing program allowing copying of files to one or more other computers, as well as charges that he engaged in the distribution of child pornography.
Zayquan E. Oseimincey, Robert J. Dowe
Zayquan Oseimincey, 19, of Philadelphia, and Robert Dowe, 22, of Atlantic City, were both indicted for possession of a CDS, alprazolam, as well as possession with intent to distribute, each a third-degree offense.
In addition, the indictment stated that the two men had possession of a handgun leading to second-degree counts against each for possession of a weapon during a CDS crime, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Lastly, Dowe faces an additional fourth-degree count for unlawful possession of a weapon, a knife.
Matthew R. Monroe
Matthew Monroe was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, two counts, and possession with intent to distribute. His proximity to public property added a third count for possession with intent within 500 feet of public property, a second-degree offense. The drugs in question were alprazolam and oxycodone.
Eric Slobodjian
In Woodbine, Eric Slobodjian was arrested for unlawful entry into a 2017 Nissan Maxima. He faces an indictment for third-degree burglary.
Kenneth M. Richardson
Kenneth Richardson, 28, of Burleigh, was indicted for criminal mischief, third degree. The indictment states that Richardson caused over $2,000 worth of damage to property belonging to Middle Township.
Keith Baybo
Keith Baybo, 38, of Wildwood Crest, was indicted for criminal trespass in the fourth degree.
Angel Flores
Angel Flores was indicted for fourth-degree theft involving an April incident in Middle Township.
Kashiel Fundenberg
Kashiel Fundenberg, of Ocean City, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, cocaine.
Raymond M. Hess III
Raymond Hess, of Upper Township, was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, and possession with intent to distribute, both counts in the third degree.
Eric N. James
Eric James was indicted for third-degree aggravated assault of a female victim. He also faces counts for third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, as well as fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. The weapon involved was a metal pipe.
Jonathan Ramos
Jonathan Ramos was indicted for second-degree eluding police. According to the indictment on April 3, Ramos attempted to elude police in a motor vehicle, crossing jurisdictions from Wildwood Crest to Wildwood.
Alizee M. Richardson
Alizee Richardson, of Woodbine, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin.
