COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 18 indictments May 23. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
Claudia O’Leary, Jeremy Horniacek, Dallas Smith, Curt Kuemmerle
In a 15 count indictment Claudia O’Leary, 20, of North Cape May, along with Dallas Smith, 20, and Jeremy Horniacek, 19, both of Lower Township, were charged with 10 counts of third-degree burglary for a series of car break-ins in Upper and Dennis townships from October 2016, through March of this year.
The three, along with Curt Kuemmerle, also of Lower Township, were additionally charged with third-degree conspiracy and theft.
Two more counts allege that O’Leary stole a credit card and used it at an area convenience store. She faces counts of fourth-degree unlawful theft of a credit card and third-degree fraudulent use of a credit card.
Both O’Leary and Smith were previously indicted for a string of car burglaries in Middle Township.
Devonnte Thomas
Whitesboro resident Devonnte Thomas, 24, was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, and possession with intent to distribute, each in the third degree. Proximity to the Middle Township bike path added a third count of second-degree possession with intent within 500 feet of public property.
Gregory Lawrence
Gregory Lawrence, 31, of Edgewood, was indicted for operating a motor vehicle on second license suspension, a fourth-degree offense.
James H. Hall
James Hall, 23, of Villas, was indicted for third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, age 14.
James Benoit
James Benoit, of Ocean City, was indicted for third-degree burglary and theft. The indictment claims that Benoit unlawfully entered an amusement pier on the Ocean City Boardwalk and took movable property valued at more than $500.
Michael Boileau, Abimael Currello-Lugo, Dominic D’Amico, Angela DiGiorgio, Zachary Gentsch, James Myrden, Charles Reindehl
Facing separate indictments for third-degree possession of a CDS are: Michael Boileau, of Ocean City, Abimael Currello-Lugo, of Wildwood, Dominic D’Amico, 27, of Pine Hill, Angela DiGiorgio, 26, of Philadelphia, Zachary Gentsch, of Lower Township, James Myrden, 35, of Ocean View, and Charles Reindehl, 44, of Wildwood.
Ishina Robinson-McCoy
Ishina Robinson-McCoy, 26, of Wilmington, Del., was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Lower Township. The presence of two children, ages 3 and 5, led to an indictment on two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Gregory Tomlinson
Gregory Tomlinson was indicted for third-degree shoplifting from a supermarket in Ocean City between March 22 and March 25.
Henry Voncolln
Henry Voncolln, 34, was indicted for theft from an air conditioning and heating company in Cape May. The count was in the third degree which means the amount taken was over $500 and less than $75,000.
Shawn Wing
Shawn Wing, 19, of Villas, was indicted for third-degree theft from a national retail store in Rio Grande.
Richard Schofield, Donald Tozer
Richard Schofield, 37, and Donald Tozer, 40, both of North Cape May, were indicted for third-degree attempted burglary. The two were previously indicted for burglary on April 11 and April 25.
The above individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
