COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 14 indictments March 27.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
A “certain person” charge can be brought against anyone carrying a weapon, but whose previous criminal convictions prohibit possession of a weapon.
Joseph P. McCarraher
Three individuals robbed a Crest Savings Bank branch on Bayshore Road, North Cape May Feb. 25, 2016. Joseph McCarraher was allegedly one of the three. He was indicted for first-degree robbery, second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and two third-degree counts for hindering apprehension and making terroristic threats. McCarraher was allegedly in possession of a .45 caliber handgun at the time.
Terry J. Pierce
Terry Pierce, 27, of Woodbine, was indicted for aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, both counts third degree, along with two fourth-degree counts for unlawful possession of a weapon and certain person. The certain person count stems from Pierce’s previous conviction for possession of a CDS.
Peter A. Visalli
Peter Visalli, 35, of Somers Point, was indicted for burglary, third degree. Allegedly Visalli unlawfully entered a residence on Fifth Avenue in North Wildwood sometime between Jan. 14 and Feb. 1, 2018.
Andrew S. Zarharchuck, Beth McNeil, Michael McNeill
Andrew Zarharchuck, 53, of Rio Grande was indicted for first-degree drug-induced death stemming from his alleged provision of heroin to an individual who died after using it. He also faces counts of third-degree distribution of a CDS, possession of a CDS and hindering apprehension.
Beth, 58, and Michael, 48, McNeill, both of Villas, were named in one count of third-degree hindering apprehension.
Yvonne M. Lindholm, Avier T. Lindholm, Yamir B. McNeal
Yvonne Lindholm, 42, and Avier Lindholm, 20, both of Dias Creek, along with Yamir McNeal, 20, of Court House, allegedly engaged in a burglary in Dennis Township that resulted in the stabbing of a victim at the property.
All three individuals were indicted for first degree attempted murder and first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, along with two second-degree counts of aggravated assault and burglary.
An alleged attempt to destroy or remove clothing that was evidence in the case also led to a count of third-degree hindering apprehension and a fourth-degree charge of tampering with physical evidence.
Pedro Quinnones
Pedro Quinnones, 52, of Court House, was on bail and scheduled to report for a hearing on charges of aggravated assault. He allegedly failed to show at the appointed time. He was indicted for third-degree bail jumping.
Brandon G. Deeck, Richard H. Brown Jr.
Brandon Deeck, 23, of Media, Pa., along with Richard Brown Jr., allegedly committed theft of personal property valued in excess of $500 on diverse dates in October 2017 in both Wildwood and Cape May.
The two were indicted for theft and conspiracy, both in the third degree.
Nicole V. Bove, Demorn Gales
In separate, unrelated indictments, Nicole Bove and Demorn Gales, both of Wildwood, were each indicted for one count of third-degree possession of a CDS.
Alexander J. Hudson
Alexander Hudson was convicted of burglary in 2013 and thus is not permitted to possess a weapon. Hudson was allegedly in possession of two knives in Wildwood Crest in February. He was indicted for a certain person, fourth degree.
Raekwon A. Cade
Raekwon Cade, 22, of Court House, allegedly made threats to kill a Lower Township police officer in February. He was indicted for making terroristic threats, third degree.
Barry C. Edwards
Barry Edwards unlawfully entered the Dennis Township Elementary School in August 2017. He was indicted for fourth-degree criminal trespass.
Christopher Clegg, Kinsey Hagerthey
Two Wildwood Crest residents, Christopher Clegg, 27, and Kinsey Hagerthey, 23, were the subject of a narcotic investigation. They were arrested at their residence for possession and intent to distribute heroin. The two were indicted on two third-degree counts for possession of a CDS and possession with intent to distribute.
Najee R. Austin
Najee Austin, 22, of Villas, was indicted for third-degree terroristic threats and fourth-degree cyber harassment. Austin allegedly used electronic means to make threats to kill a female victim.
The above individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
