COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 13 indictments March 20.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. A “certain person” charge can be brought against anyone carrying a weapon but whose previous criminal convictions prohibit possession of a weapon.
Crystal R. Wren-Mazziotto
Crystal R. Wren-Mazziotto, 25, of Woodbury, was indicted on two second-degree counts of endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated assault, along with third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin, and criminal mischief, fourth degree.
Wren-Mazziotto was arrested in Dennis Township in August 2017 after allegedly committing assault on a female victim and placing a 3-year-old child in a neglected or abused situation. Wren-Mazziotto is currently lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Alina L. Walton, Veronica C. Walton
Alina L. Walton, 24, and Veronica C. Walton, 26, both of Wildwood, were indicted on two counts of theft, two counts of receiving stolen property, and an additional count of conspiracy. All counts were in the third degree.
Christopher M. Calverley
Christopher Calverley, 31, of Villas, was convicted of burglary in 2005 in Cape May County. By that conviction, Calverley was not permitted to possess a weapon. Allegedly found in possession of a knife in Wildwood in December, Calverley was indicted for a fourth-degree certain person.
Isaiah Fitzpatrick
Isaiah Fitzpatrick, 27, of Woodbine, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, cocaine, following an arrest in Middle Township in December.
Erjon Bodi, Endrit Bodi, Afrim Bodi, Donald Gazidede
Erjon Bodi, Endrit Bodi, and Donald Gazidede were indicted for aggravated assault committed in Upper Township in July of 2017. Erjon, Endrit and Afrim Bodi were also included in a count for unlawful possession of a weapon, fourth degree, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, third degree. The weapon was listed as “a knife or screwdriver.” Afrim Bodi faces a separate count for making terroristic threats, third degree. All four individuals were named on a third-degree conspiracy count.
John P. Polizze, Joey Sierra, Edwin Villanueva-Rivera
John Polizze, Joey Sierra, 22, and Edwin Villanueva-Rivera, 24, all of Wildwood, were indicted for possession of a CDS, third degree. Polizze and Villanueva-Rivera face additional counts for possession with intent to distribute and intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, both counts also third degree.
Eliel Garcia-Reyes, Jason O. Ramos-Ocasio, Nelson T. Stewart
In separate, unrelated indictments, Eliel Garcia-Reyes, Jason Ramos-Ocasio, 20, of Wildwood, and Nelson Stewart, 40, of Court House, were each indicted on a single count of possession of a CDS in the third degree.
Lamar L. McCoy
Lamar McCoy, 32, of Burleigh, allegedly took merchandise valued at over $200 from a department store in Middle Township. McCoy was indicted for fourth-degree shoplifting.
Christopher M. Rivera
Christopher Rivera allegedly took photos or video of a Woodbine resident without that resident’s knowledge or consent. The depictions were of a sexual nature. Rivera was indicted for third-degree invasion of privacy.
Peter A. Visalli
Peter Visalli, 35, was indicted for an alleged burglary and theft in North Wildwood in December. The two counts were each in the third degree.
Joshua L. Thomas
Joshua Thomas, 21, of Woodbine, was arrested in Middle Township in January of this year for possession of over 50 grams of marijuana. He was indicted for possession of a CDS, fourth degree, possession with intent to distribute, third degree, and possession with intent within 500 feet of public property, the Cape May County bike path. This last count was in the second degree.
The above individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
