A “certain person” charge can be brought against individuals whose previous convictions bar them from having weapons.
Sabastian B. Ramagosa faces a 12-count indictment, including two counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, one in the third degree in Wildwood and the other in the second degree in North Wildwood where the amount was over 5 pounds. Another third-degree intent to distribute was for being within 1,000 feet of a school. There was also a fourth-degree count for possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia. The indictment contains several weapons charges, including second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, a SCCY CPX2 9 mm, and another second-degree count for possession of a handgun while committing a CDS crime. Two third-degree and two fourth-degree counts involved the possession and transport of weapons with no serial number. These are considered prohibited weapons. A last weapon count involved possession of a large-capacity magazine in the fourth degree. The final count in the indictment was money laundering in the third degree.
Tausha Tangree was indicted for third-degree receiving stolen property related to an incident in Wildwood Crest in March.
Peter A. Visalli was named in a five-count indictment for possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, third degree, and unlawful possession of a weapon, fourth degree. The weapon was a sword. Two third-degree counts were in the indictment for aggravated assault and making terroristic threats. The final count was fourth-degree certain person due to Visalli’s previous conviction in 2018 for burglary.
Edward Hovatter and Desteni Camacho were independently indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS. In both cases, the CDS was methamphetamine.
Triana Trussell faces three third-degree counts of possession of a CDS, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and alprazolam. The indictment also contained a fourth-degree count for unlawful possession of a weapon, an axe.
Shannon M. Hanners was indicted on a fourth-degree count for operating a motor vehicle while on second license suspension.
William P. Murphy was named in a four-count indictment for both second- and third-degree aggravated assault, along with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, third degree, and unlawful possession of a weapon, fourth degree. The weapon was a knife.
Gregory Gauntt faces two fourth-degree counts for criminal trespass and contempt.
Luis H. Montijo was indicted on two second-degree counts for sexual assault on a person less than 13 years of age and endangering the welfare of a child.
William Atkinson was indicted for third-degree bail jumping after failing to appear for a hearing related to a charge of possession of a CDS.
Mathew Nicholas faces a two-count indictment for burglary and possession of a CDS, cocaine. Both counts were third degree.
Joshua Bocchino was named in a two-count indictment for aggravated assault and resisting arrest, with both counts in the third degree.
Stanislaus Majchrzak and Arron Merril were jointly named in a three-count indictment for resisting arrest and criminal trespass, both fourth degree, and third-degree possession of a CDS, fentanyl.
