COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up nine indictments June 25.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
The individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Christopher A. Sexton, Robert S. Bellemare and Laura L. Abadie
Laura Abadie, 50, of Villas, was indicted for first-degree operation of a CDS production facility, methamphetamine. Abadie and Robert Bellemare, 47, of Villas, were then both named on two-second degree counts for conspiracy and possession of a CDS with intent to distribute. The two also shared a third-degree count for money laundering.
Christopher Sexton, 30, also of Villas, was indicted with Abadie and Bellemare on a count of third-degree possession of a CDS, methamphetamine. Lastly, Abadie was individually named in a third-degree count for possession of a CDS, cocaine.
Jacquelyn L. Songalewski
Jacquelyn Songalewski, 29, of Villas, faces a five-count indictment. Two counts are in the third degree for possession of a CDS, methamphetamine and buprenorphine. The other three counts were all in the fourth degree for unlawful possession of a weapon. The weapons listed were a folding knife, a hatchet, and a “billie.” Songalewski was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
Alisha K. Holmes
Alisha Holmes, 32, of North Cape May, was indicted on three counts of third-degree possession of a CDS: methamphetamine, buprenorphine, and alprazolam.
Daniel F. Cavanaugh
Daniel Cavanaugh, of Ocean City, failed to re-register after a change of address. His conviction as a sex offender in 2015 requires him to notify local law enforcement of his address. Cavanaugh’s 2015 conviction was for endangering the welfare of a child. He faces a third-degree count of failure to re-register.
Miquelle A. Chunn
Miquelle Chunn, 30, of Erma, faces a single third-degree count for possession of a CDS, cocaine.
Gregory L. Ganski
Gregory Ganski, 19, of Williamstown, was indicted on one count of third-degree theft of a Ford pickup truck in Lower Township. Ganski was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
David Godwin
David Godwin, 28, of Burleigh, faces a fourth-degree count for operation of a motor vehicle during second license suspension.
Angel R. Gorski
Angel Gorski, 46, of Erma, was indicted on two third-degree counts, one for possession of a CDS, fentanyl, and one for possession with intent to distribute. Both of the counts are in the third degree.
Steven M. Heckler
According to the indictment, Steven Heckler, 38, of Rio Grande, unlawfully entered a structure on Linden Lane, causing bodily injury to the resident. He faces a count of second-degree burglary.
