Indictments Filed June 12

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 27 indictments June 12.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
A charge of “certain person not to have a weapon” can be brought against someone previously convicted of a felony.
The following actions are alleged by law enforcement agents. Persons named are innocent until proven otherwise in court.
There was one state grand jury indictment filed in Cape May County for a crime committed in Middle Township.
Francis Gillice
Francis Gillice, 67, of Court House was arrested in 2013 as part of a county-wide effort called Operation Predator. He was one of a group charged with the possession and distribution of child pornography.
 On June 4, 2017 a state grand jury returned a new indictment of Gillice on two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. In one count Gillice is accused of distribution of such pornography in the second degree.  In the other he faces a third-degree charge for possession of child pornography. The indictment did not explain why these charged were being brought in 2017, but it did note that the counts stem from activity in August 2013.
Cape May County Indictments:
Craig Byrd, Matthew Lindholm
Matthew Lindholm, 40, was indicted for possession of over 50 grams of marijuana with intent to distribute. The possession charge was fourth degree, and the intent count was third degree.
Lindholm’s arrest resulted from a search warrant served on a residence in Court House. The involvement of a child in the residence added a count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child to Lindholm’s indictment. He also faces a second-degree count for weapons possession while committing a CDS crime.  The weapons listed included a .45 caliber handgun and a .12 gauge shotgun.
Craig Byrd, 40, of Court House was indicted for possession of a CDS, cocaine, third degree, as well as possession with intent to distribute over one half ounce of cocaine, second-degree.
Jorge Aviles
Jorge Aviles, of Wildwood, was indicted for second-degree robbery resulting from the use of force in a theft from two victims.
Alyssa A. Bishop, Bryon Williams
Alyssa Bishop, 23, and Bryon Williams, 28, both of Burleigh, face a 10-count indictment including a first-degree count for possession of PCP with intent to distribute.
The indictment contains four counts of third-degree possession of a CDS, three additional counts of second-degree possession with intent to distribute and one third-degree count for possession with intent.
The two were arrested during the execution of a search warrant on a Burleigh motel. The involvement of a child led to a count of second degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Tracy Dougherty
Tracy Dougherty was indicted on one count of third-degree aggravated assault in Cape May in May.
Evan Foulke
Evan Foulke faces an indictment for fourth degree obstructing the administration of law.  The indictment says Foulke obstructed the “investigation, detection or prosecution of a person.”
Joseph DeJames, Brittany Clark, Robert Forte, Connor Waldron, Ronald Jackson, Shawn Calverly, Morgan Lund, Richard Nutter, Mark Smith, Rakesh Patel, Amanda Perkin, and Caroline Pritchard
The individuals listed were indicted separately for third-degree possession of a CDS. The indictments stem from unrelated arrests that occurred in Cape May, Lower Township, Middle Township, Ocean City, North Wildwood, Sea Isle City and Wildwood.
John Watkins
John Watkins, 36, of North Cape May, was indicted for fourth-degree operating a motor vehicle during a second license suspension.
Kim Keeler
Kim Keeler, of Lower Township, faces an indictment for operating a motor vehicle during the second license suspension fourth degree.
Jaimi Hess, Andrew Clark
Jaimi Hess, 38, and Andrew Clark, 29, both of Wildwood, were indicted for burglary, conspiracy, and theft, each count is in the third degree.
Clark Miller
Clark Miller, of Upper Township, was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, and possession with intent to distribute, both counts third degree.
Christoph Nicolas
Christoph Nicolas, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree theft of property valued at over $500 which he had reason to know was lost or “delivered by mistake.”
Lorenzo Mignano
Lorenzo Mignano, 27, of Court House, was indicted for burglary of a home on Shunpike Road, third degree, and criminal mischief, fourth degree.
Rachael Leaming, Monique Kelley
Rachael Leaming and Monique Kelley, both of Wildwood, were indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, in the third degree. Kelley also faces a third-degree count for possession with intent to distribute.
Vincent Tyler
Vincent Tyler, of Wildwood, was indicted for possession of a prohibited weapon, a switchblade knife, fourth degree.
John Ulsh
John Ulsh, 28, of Sea Isle City, was indicted for third-degree theft over a period from June to October 2017.  The indictment lists 16 victims.
Ray A. Rogers
Ray Rogers, of Woodbine, was indicted on six counts stemming from a second-degree burglary on Franklin Street in Woodbine in February. The incitement contains two third-degree counts of aggravated assault, a third-degree count for possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, along with two fourth-degree counts for unlawful possession of a weapon and certain person. The weapon was an aluminum crutch
The certain person charge stems from Rogers’ conviction in 1995 for burglary.
Roy Silver
Roy Silver, 37, of Wildwood, was indicted on two counts of third-degree aggravated assault.  One count stated that the situation met the definition of domestic violence.
