Indictments Filed July 24

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 22 indictments July 24. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
The following actions are alleged by law enforcement agents. Persons named are innocent until proven otherwise in court.
Jacob R. Harrison
Jacob Harrison, 22, of Whitesboro, was indicted for second-degree reckless death by auto. The indictment claims that Harrison’s reckless driving caused an accident that killed a woman Oct. 30, 2017. Conviction for a second-degree offense can carry a prison term of five to 10 years.
Shawn Horn
Shawn Horn, 42, of Rio Grande, was indicted for burglary and theft, both counts were third degree. The indictment states that Horn illegally entered a 2009 GMC automobile taking property valued at more than $500.
Michael Herron
Michael Herron, 32, of Green Creek, was indicted on one count of possession of a CDS, heroin, third degree.
Ashley B. Piazza
Ashley Piazza, 30, of Upper Township, was indicted on two counts of third-degree aggravated assault following an incident in May which the indictment claims meet the criteria for domestic violence.
John Linnington
John Linnington, 26, of North Cape May, was indicted for third-degree aggravated assault stemming from an incident in May involving a male victim.
Jennifer J. Jones
Jennifer Jones, 25, was indicted on two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, along with third-degree resisting arrest and fourth-degree throwing bodily fluids.  The criminal mischief counts involved two separate victims.
Angel M. Harris
The indictment claims that Angel Harris was in possession of fentanyl which he intended to distribute near the Middle Township bike path. He faces two third-degree counts for possession of a CDS and possession with intent to distribute, along with a second-degree count for intent to distribute within 500 feet of public property.
Steven Corleto
Steven Corleto was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, methamphetamine, stemming from an arrest in Sea Isle City in June.
Devin A. Gantt
Devin Gantt, 23, of Paulsboro, faces two fourth-degree counts for stalking and obstructing the administration of law.
Karen L. Abdelzim
 Villas resident Karen Abdelzim, 52, was indicted for fourth-degree operating a motor vehicle under second license suspension. The incident also led to counts for possession of a CDS, heroin, and possession with intent to distribute, each count third degree, along with a fourth-degree count for obstructing the administration of law.
Phillip Atkinson, Jeremy Horniacek, Bryan Williams, Terry Williams
Phillip Atkinson, 38, and Jeremy Horniacek, 21, both of Wildwood, along with Terry Williams, 26, and Bryan Williams, 28, of Burleigh, were arrested for possession and possession with intent to distribute 5-Fluoro, a schedule I drug.
Proximity to a school and to public property added to the charges. The four were indicted for possession of a CDS, possession with intent, and possession with intent within 1,000 feet of a school, each third degree.  A nearby historical museum added a count for possession with intent within 500 feet of public property, second degree.
Matthew Colabella, Jennifer Norton
Police from Bethlehem, Pa. notified Wildwood Police that two individuals wanted for weapons violations were likely at a Wildwood address. Arrested were Matthew Colabella, 23, and Jennifer Norton, 24, both of Bethlehem. In Cape May County the two have been indicted for fourth-degree prohibited weapon due to possession of “dum-dum” bullets. 
Jeannie Benka
Jeannie Benka, 41, of Cape May, was indicted for third-degree shoplifting. The indictment claims that Benka took more than $500 worth of merchandise from a chain home improvement store. The indictment also lists an unindicted co-conspirator with whom Benka worked, leading to a second count against her for third-degree conspiracy.
Elizabeth Wiggins
Elizabeth Wiggins, 29, of Absecon, faces a third-degree shoplifting count stemming from an incident in May at a supermarket.
Christy Wilson
The indictment states that Christy Wilson, 37, of Court House, drove a motor vehicle under the influence causing serious injury to two individuals. Wilson was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault, third degree, along with a third-degree count for possession of a CDS, methamphetamine.
Dalynn White
Dalynn White, of Ocean City, was indicted for fourth-degree theft involving taking movable property from a fast-food restaurant valued at more than $200.
Charles M. Weber
On June 4, Wildwood Police responded to a call regarding someone acting strangely in the parking lot of a store on Park Boulevard. The man, Charles M. Weber, 63, of Hatboro, Pa. was in a car with a handwritten sign visible referencing a bomb. Weber was arrested without incident. No bomb was found. Weber was indicted for third-degree false public alarm.
Leighann Robson
Court House resident Leighann Robson, 41, was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, third degree.
Christina Roda
Christina Roda, 47, of Rio Grande, was indicted for fourth-degree shoplifting stemming from an incident in April at a Rio Grande supermarket.
Raymond Sientki, James Marx 
Raymond Sientki, 42, of Villas, and James Marx, 43, of Court House, were indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, and conspiracy, each count third degree.
John Polizze
John Polizze, of Wildwood, was indicted on one count of possession of a CDS, heroin, and one count of possession, cocaine. Both counts were third degree.
Christopher A. Sexton
Christopher Sexton, 30, of Rio Grande, was indicted on three counts of aggravated assault, one second-degree and two third degree.
The indictment states that the situation met the criteria for domestic violence. Added to the three counts for assault is one third-degree count for criminal restraint and a fourth-degree count for obstruction the administration of law.
