COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 14 indictments July 11. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
Tyler Caspersen
On May 28, Wildwood Crest police responded to a call at a Seaview Avenue motel. According to police, Tyler Caspersen, 22, of Garnet Valley, Pa. was arrested for defiant trespass. At police headquarters, Caspersen allegedly became unruly causing injury to himself and one officer.
Caspersen was indicted for resisting arrest, third-degree along with aggravated assault and throwing bodily fluids, each fourth degree.
Wesley Minnich
Stone Harbor police were called to a home on 94th Street May 24 due to an occupant who had allegedly become intoxicated and violent. Wesley Minnich, 32, of Millersburg, Pa., was taken into custody. Minnich allegedly resisted arrest, spitting on one officer and attempting to strike a second.
Minnich was indicted for third-degree aggravated assault and resisting arrest. He is also facing counts for fourth-degree hindering apprehension, obstructing the administration of law and throwing bodily fluids.
Briana James
Briana James, of Wildwood, was indicted for two counts of possession of a CDS and possession with intent to distribute cocaine, each third degree. Her location close to the Wildwood Boardwalk added a count in the second degree for possession with intent within 500 feet of public property.
Christopher Colon, Brendon Glinecke
In separate indictments, Brendon Glinecke, 20, of North Cape May, and Christopher Colon, of Wildwood, were each indicted for possession of cocaine, third-degree.
Jose Lopez-Santiago
Jose Lopez-Santiago, 23, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree invasion of privacy after he allegedly possessed images of another person’s “exposed intimate parts.” The images were allegedly obtained without the victim’s permission or awareness.
Pamela Vohringer
After receiving appropriate signals to bring her vehicle to a complete stop, Pamela Vohringer, of Middle Township, allegedly attempted to elude police causing the threat of serious harm to others. She was indicted on two counts of eluding police, second degree, and one count of obstructing the administration of law, fourth degree.
Devonnte Thomas
Devonnte Thomas, 24, of Whitesboro, was indicted for possession of heroin and possession of a CDS with intent to distribute, each third degree. His proximity to the Middle Township bike path led to an added count in the second degree of possession with intent within 500 feet of public property. The indictment also contained a count for fourth-degree obstructing the administration of law.
Brian Robson
Cape May County Sheriff’s Department officers conducted a sweep for individuals with warrants for non-support payments. Brian Robson was caught up in that sweep and allegedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS.
Kevin O’Malley
Kevin O’Malley, 44, of Court House, allegedly broke into a residence on Stites Avenue on May 7. During the unlawful entry, O’Malley allegedly injured an occupant. O’Malley was indicted for second-degree burglary.
Lester Shifflett
Lester Shifflett, 46, of Villas, was arrested June 8 for driving while intoxicated. He was allegedly found in possession of both oxycodone and hydrocodone without a prescription. Shifflett was indicted on two counts of third-degree possession of a CDS.
Vincent McFadden
Vincent McFadden, 34, of Philadelphia, was indicted for possession of a CDS, third degree. The incident occurred in Wildwood May 20.
Victoria Bull
Victoria Bull, 31, of Swedesboro, was indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, third degree. She was arrested in Wildwood April 8.
Patrick Megill, Tyler Wilson, Colton Powers, Timothy Ziedman, Michael Varallo
Avalon Police arrested Patrick Megill, Tyler Wilson, Colton Powers, Timothy Ziedman and Michael Varallo for possession of over 50 grams of marijuana. The five were indicted for fourth-degree possession of a CDS and for possession with intent to distribute, third degree.
The above individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
