COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up seven indictments Jan. 8.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
The individuals listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Adam M. Arcuik
Adam Arcuik, 30, of North Cape May, was arrested four times in a period of three days in October 2018. One of those arrests was for receiving stolen property, a third-degree offense for which he was indicted this week.
Police arrest reports show that the other arrests included burglary, theft, and violation of a domestic violence order. The other arrests were not dealt with in this indictment.
Nicole M. Crawley
Nicole Crawley was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS in Middle Township in December. The CDS was methamphetamine.
Christopher R. Duffy
Christopher Duffy, of Villas, was indicted for violating the Contractor’s Registration Act. The indictment stated that Duffy was making and selling home improvements without registering with the state Department of Community Affairs. This is a fourth-degree count.
Crystal L. Moore and Robert K. Kern
Crystal Moore, 37, and Robert Kern, 34, both of Cape May, were indicted for third-degree receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
Kelly J. Phillips
Kelly Phillips, 34, of Dennis Township, was indicted for possession of a CDS, methamphetamine, in the third degree.
Andres J. Torres-Negro
Andres Torres-Negro, of Ocean City, was indicted for third-degree burglary, along with two fourth-degree counts for theft and making a false report to a law enforcement officer.
The indictment claims that Torres-Negro illegally entered an apartment on Moorlyn Terrace in Ocean City and stole over $200 worth of moveable property.
Joshua K. Shaw
Joshua Shaw, 25, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin.
