COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up the following indictments Jan. 26:
Patrick L. Grace
Patrick Grace, 26, of Fishing Creek, was indicted on three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two in the second degree and one in the third. A second degree conviction can carry a prison sentence of 10 to 20 years. Grace and two other individuals were arrested in November for possession and distribution of child pornography. The indictment alleges that Grace had possession of, viewed, and distributed items “depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child.”
Ryan A. Burton
Ryan Burton was convicted in Cape May County for robbery Nov. 6, 2009. On Nov. 7, 2015, six years later, Burton was arrested in Wildwood for possession of an illegal stun gun. The gun itself is a prohibited device and Burton’s earlier conviction prevented him from possession of any weapon. The grand jury indicted Burton for prohibited devices, a fourth degree offense, and certain person, also fourth degree.
Kevin O. Crafton
Kevin Crafton, 29, of Wildwood Crest was indicted for theft by deception, second degree, along with forgery and uttering a forged instrument, both fourth degree.
The indictment alleges that from November 2013 to March 2014 Crafton committed theft of $75,000 by deceiving several individuals that he had the legal right to transfer a residential lease for a property on Topeka Avenue. The indictment adds the charge that Crafton forged the signature of the property’s real owner and represented it as genuine.
Dominic Angello 3rd
Dominic Angello, of Ocean City, was indicted for theft by failure to make required disposition, third degree. It is alleged that Angello accepted funds in excess of $500 and failed to use the funds in ways required by his agreement with the victim.
Christina K. Huston
Christina Huston, 32, of North Cape May, is accused of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and theft, both in the third degree. The indictment alleges that Huston “took unlawful control of prescription drugs” belonging to another individual. The prescription medicines included 40 diazepan and 30 oxycodone. Huston was also found to be in possession of both heroin and fentanyl.
Huston has been arrested in the past for shoplifting in Middle Township.
John G. Jackson
John Jackson, 60, of Rio Grande was indicted for possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute. The drug in question was alprazolam, a sedative frequently sold under the brand name Xanax.
George W. McNemar
George McNemar, 33, of Del Haven was indicted for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, both third degree, along with resisting arrest, and hindering apprehension, both fourth degree. The incident dates to October 2015 in Middle Township and the indictment alleges that McNemar was in possession of and intending to distribute heroin and other drugs, adding that he fled from police and also attempted to destroy or conceal evidence.
Charles L. Markham
Charles Markham, 32, of Wildwood was indicted for shoplifting merchandise valued in excess of $200 from a Rio Grande market. The offense is fourth degree.
Steven J. Pettit
Steven Pettit, 31, of Wildwood is accused of unlawful theft of a credit card, fourth degree, and fraudulent use of a credit card, two counts, both third degree. The indictment alleges that Pettit took a bank debit card from another individual and used the card on two occasions to secure over $200 from the bank that issued the card.
Harold E. Santiago
Harold Santiago, 26, of Woodbine was indicted for third degree aggravated assault. The State Police report of the incident from Sept. 25, 2015 alleges that Santiago assaulted “a subject causing her to sustain multiple fractures, and a laceration to her face, along with bruising.” It further states that Santiago grabbed the victim “by the throat” chocking her “while at a party.”
Raynaldo Mojica
Police report that Raynaldo Mojica, 33, of New York City, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation Oct. 2, 2015 on Taylor Avenue in Wildwood. Mojica allegedly presented a false Pennsylvania driver’s license as identification. When properly identified, Mojica allegedly fled the scene on foot, assaulted two police officers and was eventually arrested.
It is also alleged that Mojica was found to be in possession of both heroin and cocaine and a large amount of cash.
Mojica was indicted for possession with intent to distribute a CDS, 2 counts, both third degree, resisting arrest and aggravated assault, both third degree, hindering apprehension, fourth degree, and exhibiting a simulated document, third degree.
Mojica was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center on $200,000 bail. Records at the center also list Mojica as a “fugitive from justice.”
Christy L. White
Christy White, 31, of Belleplain, was indicted for shoplifting. The alleged incident occurred in June 2015 at a Middle Township national retailer. The value of the merchandise was in excess of $200 but less than $500 making it a fourth degree offense.
Alicia N. Wiley, Benjamin J. Davis
Wildwood Crest Patrol Division made a motor vehicle stop on New Jersey Avenue Sept. 27, 2015. According to police, the driver, Benjamin Davis, 22, of Cherry Hill, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested without incident. His indictment alleges that he was also driving a motor vehicle during a second license suspension, a fourth degree offense.
Alicia Wiley, 21, of Burlington, allegedly attempted to leave in the stopped vehicle. While attempting to arrest Wiley, police allege she assaulted officers and kicked out a police car window. Wiley was indicted for third degree aggravated assault and resisting arrest, also third degree.
Kristen L Woods
Kristen Woods, 28, of Villas, allegedly stole two credit cards and used them for merchandise in four different Middle Township businesses. She also is accused of theft of movable property valued in excess of $500. The theft and use of the cards occurred over a period from March to July 2015.
Woods was indicted for theft and unlawful use of a credit card, two counts. These charges are all third degree. She was also charged with unlawful theft of a credit card, two counts, both fourth degree.
Gabriel J Jimeney, Christine V. Pegan-Perez, and Pamela M. Kemper
Gabriel Jimeney and Christine Pegan-Perez, 28, of Rio Grande were indicted for conspiracy to commit the crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance and also for actual distribution, both third degree. Pamela Kemper, 47, of Del Haven, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, third degree. The drug was heroin.
The above individuals are only charged with the offenses and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
