Indictments Filed Jan. 2

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 18 indictments Jan. 2. 
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. 
A certain person charge can be brought against anyone carrying a weapon but whose previous criminal convictions prohibit possession of a weapon.
Xavier Primavera
Xavier Primavera, 19, of North Cape May, allegedly threatened to kill a female victim and has been indicted for third-degree terroristic threats. Primavera was indicted Dec. 19 for making threats of a “crime of violence” via social media.
Terrence H. McNeal
Terrence McNeal, 37, of Rio Grande, was indicted for possession of CDS, two counts, heroin, and oxycodone third degree. He also faces counts of third-degree possession of heroin with intent to distribute and resisting arrest. McNeal allegedly possessed a Ruger .357 handgun at the time of his arrest leading to two additional second-degree counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a CDS crime and certain person. The latter charge stems from an earlier conviction for distribution of a CDS.
Matthew G. Patchell
Matthew Patchell, 24, of West Wildwood, was indicted for first-degree aggravated sexual assault on a 5-year-old child. He also faces a second count for second degree endangering the welfare of a child. A conviction for a first-degree offense can carry a prison term of 10 to 20 years.
Neil l. Quintero
Neil Quintero was arrested in Wildwood in August for alleged possession of a switchblade. He had an earlier conviction in Oregon for aggravated assault. Quintero was indicted for two fourth-degree offenses, possession of a prohibited weapon and certain person.
Matthew Minix
Matthew Minix, 36, of Gibbstown was indicted for possession of a CDS, oxycodone, third-degree.
Alexander Moya
Alexander Moya, of Wildwood, was indicted for possession of oxycodone, third-degree.
Austin B. Camp
Austin Camp, 23, was indicted for second-degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The victim was age 10. Camp was lodged at the county correctional center without bail.
Kayla M. Gegan
Kayla Gegan, 28, of Cape May, was indicted for third-degree theft, two counts of third-degree fraudulent use of a credit card, and fourth-degree unlawful theft of a credit card.
Tyree A. Hall-Viola
A Pennsylvania resident, Tyree Hall-Viola, was indicted for an incident in Ocean City in June. Hall-Viola allegedly resisted arrest and committed aggravated assault on a police officer. The assault and one of the resisting arrest counts are third-degree.  The other is fourth degree.
Herman W. Hanson Jr.
Herman Hansen, 34, of Cape May, was indicted for endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree. The indictment did not specify the nature of the abuse or neglect that is part of this charge.
Matthew Camp
Matthew Camp was arrested in Middle Township for possession of methamphetamine. He faces an indictment for third-degree possession of a CDS.
Gilberto Lopez-Polanco
Gilberto Lopez-Polanco, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS and second-degree possession with intent to distribute. Polanco allegedly possessed over one ounce of oxycodone.
Stephen D. Rosenfeld
Stephen Rosenfeld was arrested in Woodbine for possession of metal knuckles. He faces an indictment for fourth-degree possession of a prohibited weapon.
Kenneth Wade
Kenneth Wade, of Wildwood, was indicted on two counts of third-degree aggravated assault.  In one instance the indictment maintains that the crime was part of a domestic violence situation.  The second victim was an unrelated female.
Ivette Serrano-Reichard
Wildwood resident Ivette Serrano-Reichard was indicted for third-degree theft of property valued at greater than $500.
David Tosto, Robert A McNeill, Caroline Pritchard
David Tosto, 45, of North Cape May, Robert McNeill, 49, of Villas and Caroline Pritchard, 28, of North Cape May were each indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, in the third degree. Tosto also faces a count of third-degree possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
Thomas E. Stansbury
Thomas Stansbury, 54, was indicted for third-degree theft of property valued at greater than $500 from a female victim in Middle Township.
Brandon D. Wilson
Brandon Wilson, 19, of Paulsboro, was indicted for third-degree receiving stolen property, a 2017 Nissan Maxima stolen in Sewell. Responding to alarms Oct. 15, Middle Township Police found windows at three local businesses broken with money missing from one business. The investigation led police to Wilson located at a motel in Rio Grande where he was allegedly still in possession of the Maxima.  Wilson is lodged at the county jail on eight separate charges. 
The above individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
