Indictments Filed April 25

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 13 indictments April 25. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  
Frederick Hamilton, Joseph DeJames
Frederick Hamilton, 52, and Joseph DeJames, 51, both of Villas, were indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, buprenorphine. Hamilton was arrested in 2010 on multiple counts of copper pipe burglary.
Christine M. Pompei, Nancy Ricci, Anthony Turtzo
Nancy Ricci, 56, of Villas, was indicted for distribution of a CDS, oxycodone, and for distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, both offenses in the third degree. Christine Pompei, 35, of Villas and Anthony Turtzo were indicted along with Ricci for third-degree conspiracy to distribute.
Pompei allegedly resisted officers and faces counts for aggravated assault and resisting arrest, each third degree.
Richard Schofield, Donald Tozer, Carollee Schick
Richard Schofield, 38, of Del Haven, along with Donald Tozer, 40, and Carollee Schick, 55, both of North Cape May, were indicted for roles in a burglary at a Villas jewelry store Jan. 31.
Police reports stated that Schofield used a hammer to break a window and took $20,000 worth of rings and watches about midnight.
The indictment claims that Tozer stood lookout during the burglary and Schick drove the car. All three were indicted for third-degree conspiracy with Schofield also indicted for third-degree burglary and theft, along with a fourth-degree criminal mischief count.
Schofield was indicted April 4 for possession of a CDS. 
The same three individuals were indicted April 11 for roles in an alleged home invasion, burglary and theft of an automobile.
Schick’s name also appeared in an indictment in March when she was charged with counterfeiting money.
Only Schofield is lodged at the Cape May Correctional Center without bail.
Donna Rajkowski, Peter McGlade, Timothy Letts, James Cotton
In separate indictments, Donna Rajkowski, 37, of North Cape May, Peter McGlade, 26, of Cape May, Timothy Letts, 28, of Villas, and James Cotton, 41, of North Cape May, were each indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS.
Cotton was indicted in February for possession and distribution of a CDS.
Khamal Macon
Khamal Macon faces an indictment for bail jumping, third degree, after he failed to show for a hearing on a third-degree escape charge. In November 2016, Macon was indicted for escape because he failed to return from temporary leave from custody. Despite those incidents in which Macon has not appeared as required, there is no record that he is lodged at the County Correctional Center.
Shana Adrian
Shana Adrian, 37, of Burleigh, was indicted for second degree theft, along with third degree forgery and uttering a false instrument. Adrian allegedly stole over $75,000 from a local excavating company by forging business checks made out to her or Capital One.  According to the indictment, this behavior went on from October 2015 to February 2017 before she was arrested and charged.
Before the alleged thefts from the local company, Adrian had been arrested in 2011 for credit card fraud and theft.
Paul Larsen
Paul Larsen, 61, of Lower Township, was indicted for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and terroristic threats, each count third degree, along with a final count for fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.  Larsen allegedly threatened to kill a female victim while in possession of a knife.
This was not Larsen’s first encounter on such charges. He was arrested in 2015 and 2016 for aggravated assault. In 2016 he was also separately arrested on weapons charges.
Christopher Lamonica
Christopher Lamonica, 42, of North Cape May, was indicted for burglary, third degree, and criminal mischief, fourth degree. Lamonica allegedly entered the business premises of a local transportation concern and caused damage estimated at greater than $500.
In November 2012, Lamonica was arrested with his wife and charged with a series of burglaries and thefts throughout Cape May County.
Sergio Jimenez
Sergio Jimenez allegedly engaged in the sale of marijuana near Wildwood High School and Maxwell Field in Wildwood. He was indicted for fourth degree distribution of a CDS, along with third degree counts for distribution within 1,000 feet of a school and 500 feet of public property.
Roosevelt DeFrietas
In another incident of alleged marijuana sale, Roosevelt DeFrietas, 52, of Wildwood, was indicted for distribution of a CDS, fourth degree, and distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, third degree. 
The above individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
