NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood Police Department is attempting to locate a suspect who fled the scene from a traffic stop Nov. 27.
Officer Thomas Flounders Jr. stopped a 2007 blue Dodge Caravan bearing New Jersey registration MNA-39F at 11th and Delaware avenues for an equipment violation and driving a vehicle with a suspended registration. The vehicle fled the scene as the officer approached.
The suspect is identified as George A. Caselli, 43, from Franklinville, N.J. Information was gathered that Caselli works as a handyman and is staying at an unknown location in Cape May County. North Wildwood Municipal Court Judge Louis J. Belasco Jr. authorized a warrant for Caselli with bail to be set upon his arrest.
Caselli has been charged with third degree eluding and multiple traffic offenses. He is also wanted currently by the Atlantic County and Gloucester County Sheriff’s Offices, the Folsom Borough Municipal Court and has a suspended driver’s license.
