Four Charged in Cape May Fight, Injuring Man

CAPE MAY — On Saturday, July 18 at 2:33 a.m., four men, three from Upper Darby, Pa., were charged with fighting and injuring another man, causing serious injuries and rendering him unconscious.
According to a release, police responded to a 9-1-1 call that reported a male subject lying motionless in the street at
Beach Avenue and Congress Street.
An eyewitness told police the actors fled the scene running north on Congress Street. Sgt. Dekon Fashaw observed several male subjects running across Park Boulevard a few blocks from the incident.
Upon further investigation, the following were arrested and charged:
Ryan Carey, 22, of Upper Darby, Pa. was charged with aggravated assault.
Sean Carey, 28, of Upper Darby, Pa. was charged with engaging in fighting and harassment.
Andrew Kochman, 22, of’ Upper Darby, Pa. was charged with engaging in fighting.
Eric Anderson, 25, of Arlington, Va., was charged with engaging in fighting.
The 29-year-old victim, a Willow Grove, Pa. resident, was transported to AtlaniCare Regional Medical Center, for treatment of injuries sustained in the altercation.
Detective Sgt. Anthony Marino and Detective Victor DeMusz handled the investigation.
