Drug Charges Leveled at Ocean City Man After Apartment Search

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency. The person(s) named is innocent until proven otherwise in court.
OCEAN CITY – The Ocean City Police Department Detective Bureau executed a search warrant March 15 at 5:29 p.m. on an apartment inside the Ocean City Housing Authority in the 400 block of Haven Avenue.
According to a release, the search warrant was a result of a month-long investigation into the sale of controlled dangerous substances (CDS) from that location.  The search warrant resulted in the arrest of Seth Wood, 19, of Ocean City.
During the search warrant, the following was seized: approximately 20 pounds of marijuana, large amounts of THC-laced edibles and oils, over $11,000 in currency, drug paraphernalia and a motor vehicle.  
Wood was charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams; distribution of CDS within 500 feet of a public place;  distribution of CDS; distribution of CDS within 1,000 feet of a school;  possession drug paraphernalia; and was released pending court.
The investigation was conducted by the Ocean City Detective Bureau.
