VILLAS – Lower Township Police Special Officer Robert Martinelli conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 1997 blue F-150 pick-up truck at the intersection of Bayshore Road and East Wilde Avenue in Villas Nov. 9 at 2:55 a.m.
As a result of the roadside investigation conducted by Officer Martinelli, Joseph M. Frazier, 35, who resides in the first block of East Greenwood Avenue in Villas, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
During the arrest process, Frazier was found to be in possession of narcotic prescription medication without a valid prescription, a crime of the third degree.
Frazier was transported to the Lower Township Police Department where he was charged with being in possession of CDS, driving while intoxicated and issued multiple motor vehicle summonses.
He was processed and transferred the Cape May County Correctional Center in default of $15,000 bail, which was set by Judge Thomas Hillegass.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
