COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announces that on Sept. 30, Javier Alicia-Garcia of Upper Township was sentenced to 17 years in State Prison by Judge John C. Porto.
This sentence was in connection with the “Operation Dream Chaser” investigation, the several month long large-scale narcotics investigation initiated in January 2015 by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.
During this investigation it was gleaned Alicia-Garcia was the leader of this narcotics distribution network.
Prosecutor Taylor stated that his office will continue to work hand in hand with the local municipalities along with state and federal agencies to target anyone associated with drug distributors selling illegal controlled dangerous substances.
