Daytime Burglaries Reported in Erma

ERMA- Lower Township Police Department is investigating a forced entry, daytime, residential burglary spree that occurred over the weekend in Erma, where unknown subject(s) entered residential properties through rear windows and sliding glass doors and stole various electronic equipment, such as flat screen TV’s, lap tops and jewelry.
K9 Units were called to assist in the search and canvas in the area for any items of evidentiary value and possible suspect(s). Several pieces of evidence were recovered at various locations for comparisons.
The Lower Township Police Department is requesting citizens with any information to call (609) 886-1619 extension 157 or Cape May County Crimestoppers at 609-465-2800.
Any and all information will remain confidential and may be reported anonymously.
Citizens are reminded to secure their homes and be diligent in reporting suspicious activity to the authorities in an expeditious manner.
