STONE HARBOR — Halloween morning proved a tough one for Ronald D. Coyle, 41, of Villas.
At 7:44 a.m., his vehicle was stopped at 92nd and Second Avenue by Patrolman Christopher Palmer, initially for driving while suspended.
Subsequent investigation revealed that Coyle was wanted for failing to answer a prior motor vehicle summons from Dennis Township, and he was allegedly found to be in possession of a wooden club.
Coyle was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, certain persons not to possess weapons and driving while suspended. Coyle was released after he posted $1,214 bail and was given a December court date.
Detective Stephen Schuck also investigated the incident.
