Criminal Complaint Signed Against Owner of Ship-N-Shore Bar

WILDWOOD – The Wildwood Police Department released an update regarding the Ship-N-Shore Bar, 434 West Montgomery Avenue here.
The riotous incident that took place at the Ship-N-Shore Bar on July 17th (related story) along with ongoing complaints from area residents and the fact that the Wildwood Police Department has had to respond to at least twenty-five other calls at that location in the past year, resulted in a criminal complaint being signed against the owner of the establishment, Eileen A. Helm, for maintaining a nuisance.
Additionally members of the Wildwood Police Department, Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, and the New Jersey Division of Alcohol Beverage Control did an inspection of the premises on July 20.
As a result of this Inspection several administration violations were found.
The maintaining a nuisance complaint is pending action in the Wildwood Municipal Court, and the administrative violations are being followed up on by the New Jersey Division of Alcohol Beverage Control.
