Crest Police Arrest Man For September Burglary

WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest Police Detective Division made an arrest Oct. 7 on a burglary that was reported on Sept. 17.
Aidan Mcatamney, 21, of Wildwood Crest, was arrested and charged with burglary and theft of a residence in Wildwood Crest.
Evidence recovered at the scene allegedly linked Mcatamney to the crimes. He was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center with bail set at $10,000.
A separate, unrelated warrant out of Wildwood Crest was also found during the investigation on Mcatamney. The warrant was for $2,500 for failing to appear for a court hearing.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
