County Man Pleads Guilty To Slaying of Cash’s Kin

NASHVILLE, TENN. – A Cape May County man pleaded guilty Sept. 13 in Nashville, Tenn. to second-degree murder of the great-niece of musician Johnny Cash, NJ.com reports.
Prosecutors said Wayne Masciarella, 27, stabbed Courtney Cash, 23, to death following a night out with Cash and her boyfriend, William Austin Johnson, two years ago.
Masciarella will be sentenced to 15 years in prison, the report continued.
Courtney Cash was the granddaughter of Tommy Cash, Johnny Cash’s brother.
