COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announced that on July 27, Kevin Crafton was sentenced to an aggregate of seven years in state prison and an aggregate of $500,000 restitution related to two separate contractor fraud cases investigated by the detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office.

In May of 2014 and again in May of 2015, detectives from the Prosecutor’s Office received complaints regarding fraudulent construction work being done by Crafton who was doing business as All City Construction. In June of 2016, Crafton was arrested and charged with theft and forgery which he later jumped bail on.

On July 27, Crafton was sentenced by Superior Court Judge John Porto. Crafton’s bail jumping indictment related to his original failure to appear for sentencing is still pending.

Prosecutor Taylor recognizes the investigative work by detectives from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office along with Chief Assistant Prosecutor Meghan Hoerner which resulted in Crafton’s state prison sentence.
