Charge Home Health Care Aide in Theft

NORTH CAPE MAY – Lower Township police, on April 29, announced the arrest of a home health care aide charged with burglary and theft of a residence where she formerly was employed, while the family attended a funeral.
Police reported Lisa McGraw, 48, of North Cape May, was arrested after a seven-month investigation that was conducted by Detective Joseph Boyle, Patrolman Eric Coombs and members of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police allege McGraw went into the residence where she was previously employed when family members were attending a funeral, and stole a lock box containing $45,000 cash.
Municipal Court Judge Thomas Hillegass set McGraw’s bail at $20,000 full cash.
