Car Thief Caught

SEA ISLE CITY –– Police here captured a man early Monday morning accused of a motor vehicle theft after they received a tip from the West Deptford Police Department that the man could possibly be heading for the shore.
At approximately 2:45 a.m., police found the stolen 2007 Honda Civic outside a home on 81st Street.
They impounded the vehicle and upon the arrival of the homeowners, the suspect’s mother and step father, they entered and found the subject, Patrick Schultes, 23, asleep in a third floor bedroom.
He was arrested without incident and found to have an outstanding Sea Isle warrant on his record.
He was processed and remanded to county jail in lieu of bail, $2,500 for the vehicle theft and $200 for the outstanding warrant.
