ERMA — Numerous motor vehicles were entered and items were removed over the course of the weekend, in Lower Township.
Vehicles were entered in the North Cape May and Villas Sections of Lower Township to include the following streets:
Lincoln Boulevard
Bay Drive
Tahoe Drive
Cedardale Avenue
Broadway Avenue
Weber Avenue
Items stolen included; wallets, loose change, dvd players and GPS Units.
Once again the majority of the vehicles that were entered were unlocked.
Criminal Mischief incidents were also reported on Saturday morning, November 20th, with five (5) residents reporting that large landscaping bricks had been thrown through their vehicle windows or windshields.
Vehicle windows were smashed on:
Florida Avenue
Miami Avenue
Delaware Parkway
In addition, numerous residents throughout Lower Township reported having their houses and property hit with pink paintballs over the weekend.
Several residents reported observing a small silver or gold motor vehicle shooting pink paintballs from a paintball gun at their property.
Once again, Lower Township Police Department is asking all residents to please secure their vehicles when not in use and to report any suspicious activity to the Lower Township Police Department’s Safe Neighborhood’s Tip Line at 609-886-1619 ext. 156 or in the event of an emergency, to call 9-1-1 for immediate police response.
