Joseph T. Kelly is wanted by the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office for:
Violation of probation warrant – Drug Court Warrant
Charges: Burglary, robbery and employing juvenile in commission of a crime.
Kelly was apprehended by New Jersey State Police on Friday, March 20 during a car stop, in the Somers Point area, State Police Sgt. Richard Keaser said.
Kelly later escaped from the station on the Garden State Parkway, in Bass River Township at about 7:45 p.m. Friday.
Keaser said police were tipped off to Kelly’s location, at another house in the Villas during the night.
Lower Township police and state police arrested Kelly at 6:00 a.m., Saturday morning without incident.
