Cape May Police Make Bike Theft Arrests

CAPE MAY — Cape May Police Department reports the arrest of two people on Sun., Aug. 22 for bicycle theft.
On August 22 at approx. 1:45 a.m., Officer Derrik Murphy was dispatched to the area of Beach Drive and Patterson Ave. to meet with the victim to report the theft of her bicycles. At approximately 2:20 a.m., with information from the victim, Officer Murphy was able to locate and recover the two bicycles and arrest those in possession of them.
The two, identified as Michael J. Rambo, age 25, of Bordentown, and Yu Kendra, age 22, of Princeton were each charged with theft under $200 and released on a summons.
Both are scheduled to appear in Cape May Municipal Court on Wed., Sept. 18 at 9 a..m.
