Cape Bank Robbed in Wildwood

WILDWOOD – On Sat,, April 7 at approximately 9:16 a.m., an unknown white male entered the Cape Bank located at 3101 New Jersey Avenue and brandished a black handgun, while demanding currency.
The white male, being early to mid forty years of age, was approximately 6′ feet tall and weighed 180 pounds. The male was wearing a red and black ski style jacket with a black hood, red bandanna, and sunglasses.
The baseball cap bore the American flag which covered the entire hat. He was wearing blue Adidas nylon break away pants with buttons down the legs of the pants. The male took an undetermined amount of U.S. currency and fled the area on foot.
This investigation is being conducted by the Wildwood Police Department, Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (Northfield Office), with assistance from Wildwood Crest Police Department.
