RIO GRANDE – Middle Township Police Department received a 911 call Jan. 4 at approximately 10:20 a.m., from an employee at the Family Dollar, located in the Village Shoppes, at 1304 State Highway 47, in Rio Grande.
The employee reported an individual, armed with a handgun, demanded money out of the store’s cash register. The individual was provided an amount of money, then fled on foot in the direction of the Rio Grande Plaza.
