WILDWOOD — On July 20 at approximately 11:14 p.m., police here responded to Maxwell Field, located in the 4100-block of Park Boulevard, to investigate a report of suspicious persons in the area.
Upon arrival, police said they discovered that aluminum bleachers that were being installed on the field the following day were being dismantled and loaded into a truck, which was parked outside the field.
Two perpetrators were arrested at the scene and a third accused was arrested a short time later. All three were charged with burglary and theft.
The value of the aluminum bleachers was reported by police to be in excess of $4,000.
