Avalon Police Charge New York Woman with Theft

AVALON — Avalon Police have charged a New York woman with theft charges following an incident that took place at a local business during the early morning hours of Sat., June 26.
At approximately 1:40 a.m., Avalon Special Officer Steven Bowers witnessed a woman taking an item from a local business. The woman left the business and headed to the 100 block of 20th Street with the property that belonged to the business in her possession.
Bowers questioned the subject, and arrested her on one charge of theft.
The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Kristina Marinelli who lives in Valhalla, New York. Marinelli was charged by police, and released on her own recognizance..
