Avalon Police Arrest Pa. Fugitive

The following is based on information received from a law enforcement agency. The person(s) named is innocent until proven otherwise in court.
AVALON – The Avalon Police Department announced the Sept. 15 arrest of Douglas Patton Scott, 38, of Wallingford, Pa., wanted as a fugitive from Pennsylvania.
According to a release, on Sept. 15, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Sgt. Robinson of the Avalon Police Department received information that Scott was wanted out of Pennsylvania.
Scott had an active arrest warrant for stalking and harassment from Media Borough, Pennsylvania.
After gathering the facts surrounding the case, a local address where Scott was believed to be staying was provided. As Robinson and Patrolman Hampf conducted surveillance on the residence, they were able to locate Scott and apprehended him without incident.
A search of Scott revealed he was in alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. In addition to being arrested on a fugitive from justice charge, Scott was also charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to voluntarily deliver CDS to law enforcement.
Scott was remanded to the Cape May County Correctional Center as he awaited extradition to Pennsylvania.
