Authorities Return Middle Township Murder Suspect to County

PHILADELPHIA — During the evening hours of Wed., Aug. 25, police were in the process of transporting accused murderer Frederick Marr, 71, to county jail where he will be held in lieu of $1 million bail, Prosecutor Robert Taylor confirmed.

Marr was arrested in Florida earlier this month and charged with the murder of his nephew Ronald Denny in Middle Township. Denny was shot to death on his front lawn on Aug. 11, in the Del Haven section of the township.
Marr could make his first court appearance and soon as Aug. 26, Taylor said.
