Arson Arrests, Domestic Violence Calls Reported by Lower Township Police

WEB. LTPD1 blotter 3.9-15ERMA — During the week of March 9-15, Lower Township Police handled 683 calls for an average of over 97 calls per day.
March 9:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 12:36 a.m. in the 3000 block of Bayshore Road, North Cape May. Officers found a group of individuals having a disagreement, which resulted in a verbal and physical altercation. No complaints were signed.
Report of criminal mischief received at 1:04 a.m. in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Villas, damage done to a window by unknown object, investigation continues.
Domestic violence complaint received at 5:47 a.m. in the 200 block of Oakdale Avenue, Villas. Rights were given and no charges or temporary restraining order issued. Subject left for the day.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 10 a.m. in the first block of Cloverdale Avenue, Villas. Upon officer’s arrival there was a subject creating a disturbance, no complaints signed.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 1:35 p.m. in the first block of Croydon Drive in North Cape May. Upon officer’s arrival there were two subjects fighting. No complaints signed.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 9:26 p.m. in the first block of Locust Road, Villas. Upon officer’s arrival there was two subjects arguing, no complaints signed.
Report of theft received at 7:15 p.m. in the first block of Oak Avenue, Villas. Report made of items stolen from two different vehicles, investigation continues.
March 10:
Domestic violence complaint received at 1:45 a.m. in the first block of Rabbit Run, Fishing Creek. Subject was found to be breaking items and was intoxicated. Rights werer given and no charges or temporary restraining orders requested.
Domestic violence complaint received at 3:36 a.m. in the 100 block of Shadeland, Villas. Rights were given and no charges or temporary restraining orders requested.
Police information received at 9:50 a.m. in regard to possible pornographic e-mail received in the 900 block of Ocean Drive, Cape May. Investigation continues.
Report of criminal mischief received at 2:21 p.m. in the 300 block of East St. Johns Avenue, Villas. The reporting party stated that someone wrote foul phrases on the windshield and side of vehicle with black magic marker. Investigation continues.
Report of criminal mischief received at 2:53 p.m. in the 400 block of Desoto Avenue, Villas. The reporting party stateD that someone painted words on a fence. Juvenile found who was responsible, will resolve issue with parents.
Domestic violence complaint received at 4:09 p.m. in the 300 block of Breakwater Road, Erma. Police advise two subjects arguing in and around their car. Rights were given and no charges or temporary restraining order requested.
Domestic violence complaint received at 6:44 p.m. in the 500 block of Terminal Drive, Erma. Victim was receiving harassing calls from ex boyfriend. Charges were filed and temporary restraining order obtained and served.
Domestic violence complaint received at 7:07 p.m. in the 200 block of Atlantic Avenue, North Cape May. Victim alleges violation of restraining order, charges were filed and warrant issued.
Report of unwanted juveniles in the area at 7:46 a.m. in the 1900 block of Bayshore Road, Villas. Police advised children that store owner did not want them on their property. Juveniles complied.
Report of harassment received at 10:50 p.m. in the 200 block of East Weber Avenue, Villas, the reporting party is receiving harassing phone calls. No complaints at this time.
March 11:
Arson complaint received at 12:43 a.m. in the 600 block of East Tampa Avenue, Villas. Small garage set on fire and two subjects arrested. Charges were filed.
Report of theft from taxi driver at 1:17 a.m. in the 200 block of Roseann Avenue, North Cape May. Taxi driver reports female did not pay fare, no complaints filed.
Assist Middle Township police with arrest at 1:22 a.m. at Lower Township Police Headquarters, subject held and turned over to Middle Township police.
Report of theft received at 9:13 a.m. in the area of Honeysuckle and Corson Lane, North Cape May. Victim says that some time within the last two days chainsaw and toolbox was taken, investigation continues.
ATV accident reported at 12:22 p.m. in 500 block of Railroad Avenue,Erma. Victim transported to Atlantic City Medical Center by helicopter for leg injury and released.
Domestic violence complaint received at 6:57 p.m. in the1100 block of Rosehill Parkway, North Cape May. Rights were given and restraining order issued by judge.
March 12:
Report of criminal mischief received at 2:34 a.m. in the first block of Commander Road, North Cape May. Damage was done to car with a brick, investigation continues.
Domestic violence complaint received at 12:19 p.m. in the first block of West Drumbed Road, Villas. Rights were given and no charges or temporary restraining order requested.
Report of criminal mischief received at 1:46 p.m. in the 3700 block of Bayshore Road, North Cape May. Damage done to fence, investigation continues.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 3:05 p.m. in the 3800 block of Bayshore Road, North Cape May. Juveniles spraying soda on vehicle in parking lot, juveniles were gone upon arrival. No complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest received at 4:59 p.m. in the 100 block of Fullingmill Road. Subject was transported to county jail.
Attempted suicide reported at 5:15 p.m. in the 100 block of West Delaware Parkway, Villas. Subject cut himself and was transported to the Cape Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Report of harassment received at 10:04 p.m. in the first block of Wilson Avenue in Shawcrest. The reporting party was receiving harassing phone calls. No complaints signed.
Report of drunkenness at 10:27 p.m in the 1500 block of Bayshore Road, Villas. Two subjects located in the area and sent on their way.
March 13:
Report of a warrant arrest received at 1:17 a.m. in the first block of Wilson Avenue, Shawcres. Subject was arrested as fugitive from justice, was taken to the county jail with no bail set.
Report of criminal mischief received at 9:38 a.m. in the 900 block of Washington Boulevard, North Cape May. Damage done to car by eggs being thrown, investigation continues.
Report of burglary at 3:10 p.m. in the 100 block of Texas Avenue, Villas. Laptop computer taken and investigation continues.
Report of criminal mischief received at 5:46 p.m. in the 100 block of Charles Street in Fishing Creek. Damage done to truck by eggs being thrown, investigation continues.
Domestic violence complaint received at 9:27 p.m. in the 600 block of Adriatic Avenue, North Cape May. Rights were given and the judge issued temporary restraining order, no criminal complaints signed at this time.
Report of harassment received at 9:50 p.m. in the 100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Villas. The reporting party was being harassed by her neighbor. No complaints at this time.
March 14:
Report of possession of drugs and distribution of drugs at 2:08 p.m. in first block of Atlantic Avenue,Villas. Suspect was charged with distribution of methadone.
Report of theft received at 18:07 p.m. in the 3800 block of Bayshore Road, North Cape May. Unknown item was stolen and caught on tape, investigation continues.
March 15:
Report of theft received at 10:40 p.m. in the first block of Admirals Court, Tranquility. Railroad ties and spikes were stolen and subjects caught and charged.
Report of a warrant arrest received at 2:12 p.m. in the 1500 block of Bayshore Road, Villas. Subject was arrested on various warrants, and taken to county jail.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 10:49 p.m. in the 100 block of Sheridan Drive, Erma. There was a loud party, and upon police arrival all dispersed, no complaints at this time.
Report of narcotics arrest at 11:41 p.m. in the first block of Cape Woods Road, North Cape May. Suspicious vehicle report lead to seizure of marijuana. Charges were filed.
