Arrest Man for Assault During Domesstic

NORTH CAPE MAY — On Saturday, June 27, at approximately 10 p.m., Lower Township police officers responded
to the 300 block of Beach Drive here for a reported domestic dispute in progress.
According to a release, officers were met by a 53-year-old female, who stated that when she tried to break up a fight between her boyfriend and his father, the boyfriend, Joseph Hoffman, 44, of the 300 block of Beach Drive, grabbed her by her hair and slammed her head against the wall and floor.
Officers on scene observed visible signs of injury to the female victim.
Joseph Hoffman was arrested at the scene for simple assault, processed at the Lower Township Police Department and transported to county jail in default of $15,000, full cash bail.
Patrol Officer Kevin Lewis, investigated the incident.
