Army Deserter Among Those Arrested in Lower, May 25-31

ERMA — During the week of MAY 25-31, Lower Township Police responded to and/or initiated 935 calls for service averaging over 133 calls per day.
May 25:
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 1:36 a.m. in the 200 block of Roseann Avenue in North Cape May; reporting party states the neighbor is playing loud music, responding officer spoke to the actor and it was turned down for the night, no complaints at this time.
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 1:41 a.m. in the 600 block of Pacific Avenue in North Cape May; reporting party states the neighbor is playing loud music, responding officer spoke to the actor and it was turned down for the night, no complaints at this time.
Report of a drunk driver received at 2:04 a.m. in the South end of Villas on Bayshore Road, during a motor vehicle stop the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, he was also charged with obstruction, the driver was processed and issued a summons with a court date.
Domestic violence complaint received at 4:22 a.m. in the 3100 block of Hemlock Road in North Cape May; reporting party states that her husband is yelling at her, upon police arrival the actor agreed to leave for the night, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 5:43 a.m. in the 200 block of Tampa Avenue in Villas; reporting party states that the actor hit the reporting party with a aluminum baseball bat, upon police arrival the actor left the scene, complaint for aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose were signed, warrant is pending service.
Report of a warrant arrest at 10:22 a.m. in the City of Cape May; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant out of the U.S. Army for desertion; subject was processed and transported to the County jail where he will wait for the U.S. Army Military Police to pick him up.
Report of a theft received at 12:16 p.m. in the 200 block of Broadway Avenue in Villas, reporting party states someone stole her prescription medicine from her house during a small gathering at her house, investigation continues.
Report of a theft received at 12:36 p.m. in the 4000 block of Bayshore Road in Cold Spring, reporting party states someone stole several items from both their vehicles, investigation continues.
Report of a warrant arrest at 3:03 p.m. in the 900 block of Ocean Drive in Cape May; Subject was placed under arrest for two warrants, one out of Manchester Township and one out of Egg Harbor Township; subject was processed and released on bail with a court date.
Report of a narcotics arrest at 3:26 p.m. in the area of Route 9 and Sally Marshall Crossing, during a motor vehicle stop the actor was arrested for possession of marijuana; the actor was processed and released on a summons with a court date.
Report of a drunk driver received at 6:07 p.m. in the 800 block of Seashore Road in Erma, during an investigation of a motor vehicle incident the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, he was also charged with possession of drugs, he was processed and transported to the County jail on the drug possession.
Domestic violence complaint received at 8:12 p.m. in the 1000 block of Seashore Road in Cold Spring; victim reports the actor hurt her hand, charges were filed for assault, the actor was arrested and after he was processed he was released on own recognizance, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no request for a TRO at this time.
May 26:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 2:25 a.m. in the 400 block of Route 9 in Erma; police were advised that several subjects will not settle down and they are keeping other people awake, police spoke with the actors and they will keep it down for the night, no complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest at 3:07 a.m. in the area of Breakwater Road and Seashore Road; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Gloucester City; subject was processed and transported to the County jail.
Report of harassment received at 5:35 a.m. in the 300 block of Route 9 in Erma; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party is being harassed by his neighbor, the officer spoke with the actor, the victim was advised of his options, no complaints at this time.
Report of criminal mischief received at 8:20 a.m. in the first block of Beachhurst Drive in North Cape May, the victim reports damage done to his vehicle sometime last night, investigation continues.
Report of a theft received at 12:09 p.m. in the 1200 block of Holmes Avenue in North Cape May, reporting party states someone stole their bicycle during the night, investigation continues.
Report of a suicide attempt received at 3:38 p.m. in the first block of West New York Avenue, police was advised that a male subject was standing outside covered in blood, upon the police arrival they located the subject and he was transported to the Cape Regional Medical Center, the investigation revealed this was an attempted suicide.
Report of a theft received at 5:23 p.m. in the 300 block of Beach Avenue in Villas, reporting party states someone stole a concrete statue from the yard, investigation continues.
Report of a drunk driver received at 10:08 p.m. in the 900 block of Tower View Road in Erma, during an investigation of a motor vehicle involving a motorcycle the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, the driver was issued a summons with a court date.
May 27:
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 12:42 a.m. in the area of Assembly Avenue and Arizona Avenue in Villas; reporting party states the neighbor has a loud party, upon police arrival all was quiet, no complaints at this time.
Report of a theft received at 12:48 p.m. in the 100 block of Avalon Road in North Cape May, reporting party states someone stole his tools from a garage, investigation continues.
Domestic violence complaint received at 4:57 p.m. in the first block of East Atlantic Avenue in Villas; reporting party states that there is yelling and sounds of things being broken, upon police arrival the actor left the scene, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 5:08 p.m. in the 800 block of West Rio Grande Avenue in Shawcrest; reporting party states that there is an argument between two subjects, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
The actor was arrested for driving while intoxicated; the subject was processed and released to a friend with a court date.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 6:46 p.m. in the 300 block of Broadway Avenue in Villas; officers were advised that there was a fight between two subjects in the street; upon police arrival the officers spoke to both subjects and they were going to work the matter out between themselves, no complaints at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 7:26 p.m. in the 600 block of Town Bank Road in North Cape May; reporting party states that there is a unknown disturbance between two subjects, charges were filed for simple assault and the actor was arrested, the subject was processed and transported to the County jail. The actor was also charged with driving while intoxicated and given a court date. Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no request for a TRO at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 7:52 p.m. in the area of Mulligan Field in Villas; officers were advised that there was a disturbance between two subjects at the hockey rink; upon police arrival the officer charged two parents on special complaint for disorderly conduct, both subjects were released with a court date.
May 28:
Report of a assault received at 12:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Town Bank Road in North Cape May, police were advised the victim was assaulted by the actor, upon police arrival the actor tried to flee the area, the actor was spoken to and the victim did not want to sign complaints, the actor was charged by police for providing false information to a police officer and obstruction, the actor was processed and released on a summons with a court date.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 2:58 a.m. in the 3700 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May; upon officer’s arrival it was found to be a verbal argument between two subjects on a bus, they worked out there differences, no complaints at this time.
Report of a drunk driver received at 4:34 a.m. in the 600 block of Railroad Avenue in Erma, during an investigation of a motor vehicle accident the driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, the driver was issued a summons with a court date and released to a friend.
Report of a warrant arrest at 5:15 a.m. in the 600 block of Railroad Avenue in Erma; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Middle Township; subject was processed and transported to the County jail.
Report of criminal mischief received at 7:52 a.m. in the 200 block of Arizona Avenue in Villas, the victim reports damage done to his vehicle during the night, investigation continues.
Domestic violence complaint received at 10:10 a.m. in the 100 block of Spruce Avenue in Villas; reporting party states the actor violated a final restraining order, complaints were signed and the actor was arrested and transported to the County jail.
Report of criminal mischief received at 12:51 p.m. in the 100 block of Utah Avenue in Villas, the victim reports damage done to his shed as two windows were broken, the complainant believes juveniles are responsible, investigation continues.
Report of a warrant arrest at 12:47 p.m. in the area of Route 109 and the Jug Handle in Erma; Subject was placed under arrest for several warrants, one out of Lower Township, Egg Harbor Township, Ocean City, and one out of Wildwood City; subject was processed and transported to the County jail.
Report of a warrant arrest at 6:21 p.m. in the first block of West Delaware Parkway in Villas; Subject was placed under arrest for several warrants, one out of Jackson Township, and one out of Wildwood City; subject was processed and transported to the County jail.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 10:57 p.m. in the 3900 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May; reporting party states there is about four or five people yelling at each other, upon police arrival it was found to be a subject having a verbal argument on her cell phone, she was advised to keep it down, no complaints at this time.
May 29:
Report of a warrant arrest at 10:31 a.m. in the 100 block of Leaming Avenue in North Cape May; Subject was placed under arrest for warrant out of Lower Township; subject was processed and transported to the County jail.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 12:41 p.m. in the 100 block of Pontaxit Avenue in North Cape May; officers were advised that there was a dispute between two subjects, upon police arrival the subjects were spoken to and they will stay away from each other, no complaints at this time.
Report of harassment received at 2:18 p.m. in the 100 block of Keyport Road in North Cape May; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party is being harassed by telephone, the officer spoke with the actor and the victim was advised of her options, no complaints at this time.
Report of harassment received at 4:39 p.m. in the 100 block of Cedardale Avenue in Villas; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party is being harassed by a subject who came to his residence, the officer spoke with the actor and the victim was advised of his options, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 5:02 p.m. in the 3800 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May; officers were advised that there was a dispute between two subjects, upon police arrival the subjects were spoken to and they worked out the problem for now, no complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest at 5:03 p.m. in the area of Frances Avenue and Bay Avenue in Villas; Subject was placed under arrest for warrant out of Wildwood City; subject was processed and transported to the County jail.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 7:00 p.m. in the area of Mulligan Field in Villas; police were advised that an argument was occurring between several people; police spoke to the subjects involved and the matter is settled for now, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 9:28 p.m. in the area of the Freeman Douglass Sports Complex located on Route 9 in Erma; police were advised that several juveniles are being disorderly; upon police arrival the subjects were calm down, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 10:15 p.m. in the area of the Freeman Douglass Sports Complex located on Route 9 in Erma; police were advised that a juvenile is being disorderly; upon police arrival the subject was spoken to and the subject left, no complaints at this time.
May 30:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 12:11 a.m. in the 600 block of Town Bank Road in North Cape May; police were advised that several juveniles are being disorderly; upon the police arrival the juveniles were gone, no complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest at 9:35 a.m. in the first block of Georgia Avenue in Villas; Subject was placed under arrest for warrant out of Lower Township and Elk Township; subject was processed and transported to the County jail.
Report of a warrant arrest at 10:31 a.m. in the 400 block of Breakwater Road in Erma; Subject was placed under arrest for warrant out of Lower Township; subject was processed and released on bail with a court date.

Report of a warrant arrest at 4:48 p.m. in the 300 block of Town Bank Road in North Cape May; Subject was placed under arrest for warrant out of Lower Township and two out of Wildwood City; subject was processed and transported to the County jail.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 7:23 p.m. in the first block of Beachhurst Drive in North Cape May; police were advised that several subjects in a motor vehicle are being disorderly; upon the police arrival the subjects were spoken to, no complaints at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 7:58 p.m. in the first block of Cardinal Road in Villas; reporting party states the actor violated a final restraining order, complaints were signed and the warrant was given to Wildwood Police for service
May 31:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 12:04 a.m. in the 100 block of Texas Avenue in Villas; police were advised that the subject at the above location is intoxicated and causing problems, upon police arrival the subject was spoken to and was relayed to a friend’s house, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 1:01 a.m. in the 200 block of Arbor Road in Villas; police were advised that the subject at the above location is intoxicated and causing problems, upon police arrival the subject had fallen asleep, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 1:42 a.m. in the 900 block of Schellengers Landing Road in Cold Spring; police were advised that the reporting party is having problems with a subject on his boat, upon police arrival the subject had left the area, no complaints at this time.

Report of Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer received at 10:15 a.m. in the area of Seashore Road and Sally Marshall Crossing in Erma, during a motor vehicle stop the driver ran from the vehicle, the driver was located and charged with obstruction, the subject was processed and released on a summons with a court date.
