Arizona Fugitive Nabbed, Faces Drug Charges

NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood Police Officer Bryan Skill arrested a fugitive while he was on patrol Oct. 12.
At 4:14 p.m., Officer Skill came in contact with Samantha Rusden near Allen Park at 24th and Delaware Avenues. Rusden was wanted by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona for trafficking in stolen property. Search incident to arrest revealed Rusden was also in possession of LSD and marijuana.   
Samantha Rusden, 23, residing in North Wildwood, was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice from the state of Arizona. She was also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park, possession of controlled dangerous substances (LSD) and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Rusden was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center where she is awaiting extradition back to Arizona.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
