Alleged Stone Harbor Burglar Caught in the Act

STONE HARBOR — On June 29, officers here were dispatched to the area of 85th and 2nd avenues at 3:26 a.m. for a reported car burglary.
A witness observed the subject standing near her vehicle’s car door, which was standing open.
The subject, a 23-year-old male resident of Lansdale, Pa., then reportedly rode away on a bicycle north on 2nd Avenue. He was picked up 20 minutes later by Avalon police at 52nd Street and Dune Drive and transported back to the scene of the incident for identification.
The subject was found to be in possession of two I-Pods, an I-Phone a digital camera, a TomTom navigation system, two flashlights as well as cash and change.
The subject was charged with attempted burglary, criminal trespass and possession of burglary tools with additional charges pending.
The subject was processed and released with a court date.
