NORTH WILDWOOD – North Wildwood Police were dispatched to Walnut and Olde New Jersey avenues Nov. 17 for a report of a disorderly female in the area at 8:43 p.m.
Officers located the female matching the description on the 100 East block 2nd Avenue. The female, identified as Elizabeth Sanders, continued to be disorderly as officers and North Wildwood Fire Department firefighters arrived on scene.
As Sanders was being placed under arrest, she kicked two officers in the leg and groin area, biting one of the officers on his hand and bit a firefighter. Sanders continued to resist arrest and spit on two officers and a firefighter.
Sanders, 43, residing in Villas, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer; one count of aggravated assault on a firefighter; three counts of throwing bodily fluid and one count of resisting arrest.
Sanders was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center on $15,000/full cash bail set by Judge Louis Belasco, Jr.
