Albano Fined by Ethics Panel

TRENTON – Assemblyman Nelson Albano (D-1st) was fined $500 by the state Joint Legislative Committee on Ethical Standards Dec. 17 for violating public trust by filing a complaint against a state trooper who issued him a summons for speeding Feb. 21, 2012 in Trenton. The action was the first of its kind in 35 years, according to a story in The Star Ledger Dec. 18.
