BURLEIGH – Middle Township Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit, led by Sgt. Ken Martin, executed three separate court-authorized narcotics search warrants resulting in the arrests of six individuals.
According to a release, on Dec. 7, the Street Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team, executed a court-authorized search warrant at a motel, located on the 400 block North Wildwood Boulevard in Burleigh, resulting in the arrests of William Reid, 53, of Burleigh, and Catherine Panczenr, 48, of Cold Spring.
Crack cocaine, heroin, prescription medications and approximately $600 was seized. Both Reid and Panczenr were charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances (CDS) and released on their own recognizance.
On Dec. 12, the Street Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team, executed a court-authorized search warrant at a residence located on the 100 block East Main Street in Edgewood. As a result, James “Shakey” Powell, 39, and Dana Robinson-Powell, 38, both of Edgewood, were arrested.
Cocaine, marijuana and prescription medication were seized resulting in both individuals being charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute CDS and released on their own recognizance.
On Dec. 13, the Street Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team, executed another court-authorized search warrant at the same motel mentioned above, resulting in the arrest of Lance Boyd, 27, of Burleigh.
Cocaine, Ecstasy, and prescription medication were seized resulting in Boyd being charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute CDS and released on his own recognizance.
Also present during the search warrant execution was Jerry Winston, 23, of Burleigh, who was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant from another jurisdiction.
The individual(s) listed is/are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
