2 Charged In Burglary Of Wildwood Home

This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
WILDWOOD – On April 26, at approximately 4:40 p.m., officers from the Wildwood Police Department Uniformed Patrol Division responded to a report of a burglary not in progress in the 100 East block Andrews Avenue. Upon officers’ arrival, they discovered the burglary had just occurred a few moments prior to the victim arriving home, according to a release.
Accordingly, members of the Wildwood Police Department reviewed video surveillance footage of the incident and observed a man and a woman enter the rear yard of the property. The male suspect was then observed making forced entry into the apartment and then exiting the apartment a short time later with a large television. The two suspects were then observed entering a small, silver SUV and fleeing the area.
During the on-scene investigation, members of the Wildwood Police Department Patrol Division and members of the Wildwood Police Department Detective Division received information pertaining to the possible identity of the two suspects. Accordingly, officers responded to the area of Pine Avenue and Lake Road, where they located a vehicle that matched the description of the accused vehicle, and also located one male subject and one female subject, who matched the description of the suspects.
As the investigation continued, a court-authorized search warrant was executed at a residence in the area of Pine Avenue and Lake Road. During the execution of the court-authorized search warrant, the television that was reported stolen was recovered.
During this time, the two suspects were identified as Jaimi Hess, 38, and Andrew Clark, 29. Hess was issued criminal complaints from this incident for conspiracy to commit burglary and theft. Clark was issued criminal complaints for burglary and theft. Hess and Clark were released on summons complaints.
The individual(s) listed is/are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
