County Hosts Program for Veterans

Freeholder Gerald M. Thornton reminds all Cape May County Veterans to attend a free informational session which focuses on benefits for Veterans on Wednesday, May 4th. The event will take place in the Freeholders’ Meeting Room at the County Administration Building located at 4 Moore Road in Cape May Court House, New Jersey (Exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway).
Wilmington VA Healthcare Director Charles Dorman and Public Affairs Officer Charles Quesenberry will provide information about the VA Healthcare System’s services for veterans in southern New Jersey. Following their presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions.
Freeholder Thornton said, “The purpose of this meeting is to enlighten Cape May County veterans on the services provided by the facility, future plans for additional services and discuss satellite clinics associated with Wilmington VA Hospital, shuttle service, radiation therapy and the opening of the Northfield Clinic.”
