Mark your calen-dars and get ready to kick up your heels during the upcoming country-dances at Conven-tion Hall.
Dances will be held March 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Ken and Debbie Gaskill of Country Fun are in their tenth year of dancing and teach-ing both line and couples dances at the hall.
Both beginners and more advanced dancers are always welcome, and there are lessons for both levels.
Admission is just $6.

Don’t forget, roller-skating continues in Con-vention Hall on Fridays from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m.

It’s easy to take the beautiful architecture on Cape Island for granted, but it’s well worth it to stop and take a closer look some-times.
On Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m., take the “Discover Cape May Historic House Tour,” sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Cape May Historic Accommodations.
Houses on this self-guided tour include the Henry Sawyer Inn, the Primrose Inn, and the Queen Victo-ria.
You’ll get to see the beautiful interiors of these familiar land-marks, and you’ll also enjoy the owners’ antiques and personal col-lections.
A portion of the proceeds benefits the Center for Community Arts’ Franklin Street School Restoration Project.

On Sunday, take your kids to the tenth annual KIDS CAN! Expo at Con-vention Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This is a won-derful family event that in-cludes a full day of games, exhib-its, live animals, crafts, learning and fun for kids of all ages.
There will be many environmental groups providing activities at each tables, and the Kiwanis Club of Cape May will serve yummy snacks.
Live perform-ances on stage throughout the event, and tons of nature exhibits and live animal demonstrations.
Walk-ins are welcome, and ad-mission $4 per person, children under three are free.

The NJ State Film Festival is teaming with Con-gress Hall to bring a series of classic and inno-vative films to Cape Island.
Screenings are on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Congress Hall’s Harrison Room through March 19.
This week’s film is that Warner Brothers classic Public Enemy star-ring James Cagney and Jean Harlow.
Upcoming films are Julien Du-vivier’s Pepe le Moko, Bullitt starring Steve McQueen and Jac-queline Bissett, and Whiskey Ga-lore! with Basil Radford and Joan Greenwood.
After the films are shown the au-dience can join in the discussion with Ron Rollet, Festival Artistic Director, and Joe Stinson, noted Hollywood screen-writer.
Tickets are available at the door and there is no need for reser-vations.
Suggested dona-tion is $5.
