GREEN CREEK – Logan Thrasher, 4, died early this morning, Jan. 21, according to a post on Love for Logan’s Facebook page.
“There are no words to explain how we are feeling right now,” the post stated. “Logan passed away early this morning. Thank you everyone for all the prayers please continue to pray for the family as we mourn this precious little angel.”
Thrasher was diagnosed with leukemia two years ago, according to previous reports.
Last week, the pipes in Thrasher’s home froze and burst while he and his family were at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Most of the belongings in the home were destroyed.
Members of the community took to social media to garner support for the family, including putting out a call for volunteers to help repair Thrasher’s home, once word got out that Thrasher wished to go home following his release from the hospital on hospice.
Another wish of Thrasher’s was fulfilled Jan. 17, when he got to pet and feed a pony for the first time.
There has been an outpouring of posts on Thrasher’s Facebook page mourning his loss.
