COURT HOUSE — The county Bookmobile has a new look for fall; an underwater theme featuring images of local siblings Nat and Allison Conley of Dennisville reading books while floating through a blue and green background of sea turtles, dolphins, fish, and other marine life.
It’s hard to miss with “Cape May County Bookmobile” printed in bright yellow letters on either side.
The Cape May County Library Commission and the Board of Chosen Freeholders showed off the mobile library service vehicle’s updated look in the parking lot of the county branch Oct. 17.
Freeholders Gerry Thornton and Ralph E. Bakley, Sr. were present for the unveiling, as well as Deb Poillon, library director, Mary Dempsey, chairperson county library commission, Eileen Mussey, secretary county library commission, and Jackie Henderson and Ed Hutchinson, also of the county library commission.
The Bookmobile carries 1500 titles including juvenile and adult readings material, audio books, videos and DVDs and makes stops throughout the county Wednesday thru Friday including Tuckahoe, Seaville, Marmora, North Wildwood, Rio Grande, and Cape May.
